SummerDaze – Dancin’ in the Streets!

Hey!  This weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer!  Menomonie is holding their first annual SummerDaze celebration, and we are proud to be a part of it!  (OK…it’s not officially summer yet, but the Menomonie WinterDaze celebration takes place in early December…technically still autumn!)
We will be playing out on the streets of Menomonie on this Friday, May 18th, from 7:30 until they shut us down!  We’ll be set up off of 4th Street, right behind the Visitors’ Center.  I’m told there will be food and refreshments (beer!!) for sale.  Come on out and say “hello” to summer!

It looks like Cancun Mexican Restaurant is making ready for our big Cinco de Mayo gig next Saturday, May 5th, from 9:00pm until 1:00am.  We have fine-tuned our set list, and we’re only including songs that rock.  We may even break out “La Bamba” in honor of our continental neighbors to the south.  I don’t speak a lick of Spanish, but I’m pretty sure that the lyrics to that song glorify the idea that a bunch of old guys can set up some stuff at one end of the bar while people drink beer and shake their butts on the dance floor.  ”La – La – Bamba!”

We’re happy to announce that we will once again be rockin’ the Tiki Bar out at Jake’s on Tainter Lake.  Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 2nd, from 2:00 – 6:00.  Break out your wildest Hawaiian shirt and your baggiest cargo shorts and lace up you hurrachi dance-sandals!  The cold beer will be flowing and the good music will be riding the waves into the last unofficial weekend of summer!

We had a blast playing for the One In A Million benefit for Tyler Miller a few days ago!  There was a great crowd, and it was heart-warming to see so many people come out to support such a great cause.  We were just happy and honored to be a part of it!

We just booked a gig at Cancun Mexican Restaurant in Menomonie for their Cinco de Mayo party. Not to overstate the obvious, but it’s on Saturday night, May 5th. We’ll be rocking the joint from 9:00pm – 1:00am. Come on out and bring your friends!

We have redesigned things to help keep our website more current, and to make it easier for us to update and maintain it.  In addition, the new layout gives us a greater ability to share our music and videos with our fans.  Snoop around and see what you can find.  Also, check back, as we will be pulling stuff out of the archives and releasing it to the public.
