It looks like Cancun Mexican Restaurant is making ready for our big Cinco de Mayo gig next Saturday, May 5th, from 9:00pm until 1:00am.  We have fine-tuned our set list, and we’re only including songs that rock.  We may even break out “La Bamba” in honor of our continental neighbors to the south.  I don’t speak a lick of Spanish, but I’m pretty sure that the lyrics to that song glorify the idea that a bunch of old guys can set up some stuff at one end of the bar while people drink beer and shake their butts on the dance floor.  ”La – La – Bamba!”
